The Jets did not disappoint the fans as they squeak past the Kings, 2-1.

Jets did not disappoint their fans as Kyle Connor hits the game winner goal in the 2nd period. Winnipeg Jets shutdown the LA Kings in the third period. Connor Hellebuyck was always brilliant in keeping the Kings puck away from the goal line.

“We skated better tonight so we were able to look more, I don’t know if disciplined is the right word – we just didn’t take the penalties that we took,” Jets head coach Paul Maurice said.

After a 1-5 loss to Dallas Stars, the Jets follows up with a win.

A lot of bad blood between the two camps and Dana White decided not to do the awarding of ceremony with the two fighters inside the Octagon.

Khabib is now 27-0 while Conor “The Notorious” McGregor is 21-4 records.

Majority of the game was stagnant after Laine scored the first goal of the game. St. Louis Blues could not buy any goal, thanks to Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, who masterfully guard the goal.

But came the third period where the Jets speed, defence and shot accuracy was in full display.

That shot starts a barrage of goal made by the Jets in the 3rd period. Blake Wheeler, Kyle Connor and Brandon Tanev each hits a goal.

“It’s deflating for them. They had a chance to tie the game up, a couple on that power play,” said Wheeler. “That turned the game upside down.”

The Winnipeg Jets announces the signing today.

Winnipeg Jets announce the signing of captain Blake Wheeler to a five-year contract extension worth $41.25 million, with an average annual value of $8.25 million.

Wheeler, 33, is coming off the best campaign of his 10-year NHL career. He paced the Jets with 91 points (23G, 68A) last season and was tied for the NHL lead in assists with 68, including a league best 48 primary assists.
